Homesick Homepage12 notes
- Hero
Commit the hero to one mood, one message, one button
The hero pairs a single atmospheric scene with a short headline, one supporting line and one clear shop button, so a first-time visitor knows what to do next.
Why it matters. A hero that makes one promise and offers one action keeps attention focused. The candle in the scene also tells visitors what the store sells before they read anything.

- Hero
Keep carousel controls visible and obvious
The hero shows small pagination dots beneath it, and the press quote and review rows both carry circular arrow buttons on their edges.
Why it matters. Shoppers can only explore extra slides if they can see that more exist and how to move between them. Larger, high-contrast controls reduce missed content.
