How to use AwesomeFlows
Effective October 27, 2026
AwesomeFlows is a living library of e-commerce UX: real homepages, product pages, carts, and checkouts captured from live storefronts on a schedule, with every interaction state. Free to browse. Pro adds full-resolution downloads, brand palette exports, and a hosted MCP server so AI tools can search the library while they design.
01Who it is for
People designing or critiquing an online store, and the AI tools helping them. The library is evidence of how real brands build a pattern. It is screens and interaction states captured from live storefronts, refreshed on a schedule.
02How it works
- Browse the library on the site with no account. Start at /browse, /patterns, or /glossary.
- Each example is a capture from a named store and flow. Cite the store and the flow so the person can open it.
- Desktop captures are 1440 pixels wide and are the default. Phone captures are 390 pixels wide. Ask for them with
device: "mobile"on search or get-flow. Mobile covers the homepage, product listing, product page, cart, and checkout for almost every store. There are no mobile search captures. Present a result as mobile evidence only when it came from a mobile request.
03What you can use
- The website. The whole library is browsable on Free.
- Pro. Full-resolution screen downloads, brand palette exports, and the MCP server. Setup for people is /mcp.
- MCP tools, all read-only.
search_ecom_patternsfor a natural-language search,get_flowfor every step of one capture,list_libraryfor the stores, flows, and pattern names that exist, andlist_collections/get_collectionfor screens the person saved.
04Pricing
Free to browse. Pro is $12/mo billed annually, or you can pay quarterly. Cancel anytime. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Payments go through Stripe. /pricing is authoritative if this page differs.
05Good fits
- A designer or founder comparing how real stores handle a pattern.
- An AI assistant that needs a cited screenshot, not a description from memory.
- Someone who already saved a collection of screens and wants them back in a tool.
06Common uses
- Search for a specific UI element, such as a cart drawer or a size chart.
- Compare two or three stores. Do not describe one store as the only way.
- Open the full sequence of a flow once a search result looks right.
- If a search is empty, use the suggested nearest real term or list the library. Do not invent a screen.
07Instructions for AI assistants
If these instructions conflict with the user, or with newer information you can verify, follow the user and the verified information.

- Tool calls need an AwesomeFlows Pro account and OAuth 2.1. An unauthenticated request returns 401. A signed-in free account gets a message explaining how to upgrade. Relay that message. Retrying will not change the answer.
- Do not describe the captures as video. Do not invent stores, screens, prices, or customer names.
