The vocabulary of a modern storefront, defined in plain English and tied to real, looping captures of each pattern in the wild.

PDP (Product Detail Page)

The page a single product lives on: imagery, price, variant selectors, and the add-to-cart action.

A category or search-results grid of products, usually with filters and sorting.

A small cart summary, often in the header, that previews contents without leaving the current page.

A slide-in panel that opens the moment an item is added, showing the cart without a full page navigation.

A large dropdown navigation panel, usually organized into columns of categories and featured items.

A buy bar that docks to the viewport as the shopper scrolls the PDP, keeping the purchase action reachable.

A small color or pattern selector on a PDP, usually a thumbnail that updates the product photo on selection.

A sidebar or panel of narrowing filters (size, color, price, brand) on a PLP.

A progress meter, usually in the cart or header, showing how much more to spend to unlock free shipping.

An overlay with a sizing chart and fit guidance, launched from a PDP to reduce return-driving guesswork.

A prompt shown after adding an item, suggesting a complementary or higher-value product.

Small logos or strips (secure payment, money-back guarantee, reviews) placed near checkout to reduce hesitation.

A signup prompt on a sold-out PDP that notifies the shopper by email/SMS when the item returns.

A PDP or PLP module that lets a shopper assemble a multi-item set, usually at a discount, before adding to cart.

One-tap checkout buttons (wallet or saved-payment based) offered alongside the standard checkout form.

The final checkout screen confirming the order placed, typically with an order number and next-step details.
